TREES AT RIVERTON
This plein air painting has always been a favorite of mine. I was taking a class at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art taught by one of Phladelphia's best known plein air painters, Larry Francis. He took us to a little town on the Jersey side of the Delaware River, where I fell in love with the way the sunlight streamed through this beautiful double row of trees, separating each one out in light and shadow.
